To the one who guided her blind proprietor down 78 flooring, after which calmly led him 40 blocks to a good friend’s house.
To the one who refused to desert his proprietor, even when urged to go — staying at his facet till they each reached security.
To the one who was among the many first to reach at Floor Zero, risking his life via fireplace and falling particles to avoid wasting others.
To the one safety canine stationed in one of many Towers, who tragically didn’t make it out, however spent each final second attempting to guard these round him.
To the one who sensed which firefighters and first responders wanted consolation most — providing her quiet presence and changing into a secure place to launch their grief.
To ALL the almost 300 Ok-9 groups who had been deployed to New York, the Pentagon, and the Contemporary Kills Landfill. You risked your lives, your well being, and your power, looking the wreckage day after day.
Right this moment, we pause to honor your bravery, alongside all those that ran beside you ❤
In moments of unimaginable chaos and heartbreak, canine reminded us that heroism doesn’t at all times roar — generally it comes on 4 paws, with regular eyes and a coronary heart that is aware of solely devotion.

These courageous pups didn’t even know that they’re thought of heroes. They only did what they wanted to do. They only gave all for love, responsibility, and loyalty.
